Interview with Harlen Lambert conducted as part of the Raitt Street Chronicles. This interview was included in "Shouting from the Margins: Black Leadership in Orange County, 1960 - 1979." Harlen Lambert is a super achiever and one of the inspirations for this project. He was the first Black police officer hired by the City of Santa Ana in 1968 and served heroically until 1972. He trained dogs for years and specialized in cell phone detection. He recently published his memoir.
