Juel Farquhar and her daughters are community leaders in their respective fields. Juel Farquhar was the first Black teacher in Fullerton and in this interview discussed her husband, the first Black mail carrier in Fullerton. Her daughter Janine was the first Black police officer for the City of Anaheim. And daughter Kathy Ayeh teaches dance for the Fullerton Unified School District after studying dance at UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, and in Africa.
